Install Addon

Hi i am having issues with the addons. I followed the directions i found on the forum with runing rift clicking addons then open add on directory and from there cant do anything and i cant find < game directory>\interface\addons any where on my pc. is there another way to get the addons in so that they work? thanks in advance
