Interested in Authoring
Hi all
I consider myself a addon junkie as i have used just about every possible addon that was available to me during my wow days. However i want to make the transition from user to author now that im a rifter. Can anyone point me in the direction of informative tutorials on where to start and how to go about creating addons? |

There is a ton of helpful information in the Tutorials and Other Helpful Info section of the Developer Discussions forums. As well, there is a lot of information (including the current API) on our wiki.

I would imagine the majority of that book though would be covering an API that is irrelevant.

People often imagine things wrong
To have bought and read, I can say that it is much more than that I'm author in WoW and War, ready to build in Rift too when they will allow it

I am in talks with someone about writing a Rift equivalent, but for now, that's all they are: talks. |

Understood. Just found out that they would be available for construction. I have however have been doing my fair share of bug finding (mainly on maps where you would seemingly fall through the maps randomly)
