This is a simple player portrait replacement for Rift.

It attempts to display player information in a clear and concise manner.

One distinction is that the addon can be moved in real time on the UI and locked into the desired position without having to go to "Edit Layout."

The other distinction is that the "resource" of a specific calling (except rogues for now as I haven't added functionality for them yet) is in a separate bar that is also capable of being moved into the desired position.

The position settings are persistent and unique from character to character.

Still to do:
- Add functionality for clerics that use decays.
- Add slash commands to be able to customize the alpha and or size of the resource frame or create a UI element to configure the bars.

- Added a change to the alpha channel of the resource bar. When out of combat it's faded out, in combat it's quite visible.
- Added the rogue energy bar to the addon. Charges and combo points for rogues will be left out of this addon as that would is for target frames (maybe my next addon...)

-Added Convictions as a resource for clerics.
-Added textures to replace text for things like planar charges, vitality and combat state.

This addon hasn't been updated in a very long time, that is more than likely the reason for the problems it has right now.

I'm not the author, I just thought I should tell you that. I don't know what's going on with this project anymore, there are other Unitframe addons available, and I'm sure more will come out eventually.

Really bugged, player frame updates correctly and looks ok, but it shows this second frame that is empty and the player frame moving is odd, really really bugged.
If this bug is unknown i'll give more details, but its so obvious that the developer of the addon shouldnt have problems dealing with it himself alone.

I'd be happy to add whatever feature you'd like as long as it's something the API will allow and if I have the ability to do it.

Can you be more specific with what you'd like to fade in and out please? What portion, what frame, the whole thing, just the resource bar etc...

Thanks for the fast reply. I need to ask though, could you possibly put in a feature for fade out when you're not in combat and fade in during please? That way they only show up when I'm in combat please? (separate settings like that for party/raid frames if you eventually plan on having them, since some users prefer those visible at all times, especially if you're a healer)

The addon I'm making WILL be usable by all classes sooner than later. As I am a "programmer" only by virtue of doing it when I need to there is a learning curve AND a re-learning curve every time I sit in front of the computer and code.

I wanted to get familiar with the addon API in bite sized chunks as opposed to an entire targeting system as with MinUI.

As MinUI has been stopped, and grantus has quit RIFT, and he's stated that anyone can pick up the project and finish it if they wish, I'd recommend you do, so you can have it work for more than just casters, and just implement what you've done here into it. That's what I would do, if I could code, but I just can't code.

I look forward to working on it.

This has been a lot of fun to build.

Unfortunately for the warriors and rogues I play a cleric so my focus was to code so "I" could use the addon.

I appreciate your interest. Making the addon display "energy" instead of "mana" should be a relatively trivial task. I'd just have to make an alt to test it out.
