Well half year later and this could be another unsupported addon, but just in case...
With 2.2 patch, seems that Toon Info keeps a pretty erratic item count across toons. Even if I disable then reenable the addon (a process that used to reset the correct the counts), it does not work properly. |

UPDATE: Before reading this complete TL;DR, I've found that deactivating, then reactivating the addon can solve some problems (along with, I guess, clearing out old files). Also, I've found that it has to be done for each and every character.
Hey Daemon, Hopefully you're still playing RIft and looking at this addon. Having some issues with the addon not properly accounting for things in bags vs. banks, or at all. It will display the numbers of a certain wood type in my bank, but not the ones in my bags. Or it will disregard an item totally, such as a potion. Or at times show it on one char and not another. I don't get it. I have gone in the files and eliminated all the Tooninfo files that I could find, the Saved Variables ones for each toon, the addon folder itself (with a new install), and a file here or there (can't remember which). Trying to totally reset to 'before Tooninfo' status. After a fresh install, same issue. Has the xpack screwed stuff up? EDIT: ok, I see your info says craft recipes aren't supported, so that may account for some potions. Still don't get why some craft materials are fully recorded and then others are not.

Frame strata
To solve the errant problem with the frame hiding behind the bags use the following before you build the tooltip:
context:SetStrata("topmost") You should now be able to attach to the tooltip properly, and permanently. Better yet, create a separate context: tooltipContext=UI.CreateContext("ToonInfoToolTip") tooltipContext:SetStrata("topmost") so that the normal will maintain itself behind the other windows as necessary. I'm as yet trying to figure out why it renders the frame, elsewhere, for a second before attaching to the tooltip. It's visually very very annoying. I'll let you know if i find anything. Regards

Really appreciate this addon quite a bit.
I'm going to go in and change the font and cell sizes for the tooltip, but my question revolves around locking down the main Tooninfo window. Any chance that could be done? |

What i'm working on right now is a tracker for daily/weekly quests, which obviously needs the same logic. Since entering an instance starts a quest, maybe i can use this to implement your suggestion. I'll look into it, but don't expect anything too soon |

Great job on the addon. Its nice and compact and runs smoothly. Any chance there are plans to add an instance lockout tracking feature to it? That's by far the most annoying thing to cycle through toons to figure out which ones unlocked. Anyway great work regardless.

What font-size is concerned, on my screens the windows (for example when opening up the currency window) are relatively large and still have a scroll bar next to it. I was thinking that changing the font might allow to reduce the screen size. If you wish, I can try and upload a screenshot to show you what I mean. |

Re: Some feedback
Hi Iron,
changing the font size is not something i've thought of before, but i'll put it on my list of ideas. For the tooltip, try "/ti merge 1" or "/ti merge 2", or "/ti merge 0" to reset to default. "merge 1" will merge per toon, but not bank/bags, "merge 2" will merge even different slot types. Artifacts is something i'd really like to have as well, but the API doesn't give any information about them, unfortunately. But i'm sure i'll add that as soon as Trion provides the information. Thank you for testing and commenting my addon! Wym Quote:

Some feedback
Hi Wym,
Thanks for making this tool available. I've been running it for several weeks and find useful and stable. Well done. I especially like the search function. That's something I had been looking for and my initial motivation to install your AddOn. Would it be possible to change the font in any way? I find the font relatively large and would love to reduce it a bit. What the tooltip is concerned, for me it would be sufficient to show a total per toon rather than per bank or bag slot. Alternatively, the tool tip could show (subtotal) toon X bank + (subtotal) toon X bags + (subtotal) toon Y bank + … = Total If you’re looking for some fresh ideas on what else you could add to your add-on, here’s a thought: I would be very interested in having a tooltip tell me if the artifact which I’m mousing over is already in my artifact set of my other toons. Thanks for your work, Iron |
