Back from my holiday in Turkey
Yep, macros start at the top and find the first spell that can be cast. They are standard RIFT macros, the only thing Gadgets does is replace @unit with the correct specifier for the frame (as well as adding the : lua commands used for role selection). A macro could look something like: Code:
:if role == 1 or role == 3 then cast [ctrl] @unit Crucial Invocation cast @unit Healing Spray :end :if role == 2 then cast @unit SomeOtherSpell :end |

This no longer works at all with the latest patch. I even tried to reinstall it, but the icon to use the addon at all, doesn't even exist on the screen. I have no idea what to do about it, so that's why I am posting here.
I also hope eventually you can add support for transparency during or out of combat. Because I like to either hide my frames, or have a lot of transparency on them until I enter combat then they show up full visible. I am also hoping for a feature to change the frames so that I can do it like Skyrim, where I have 1 bar for health, 1 bar for Mana, and 1 bar for another resource like Charge for mages. I would also like a layout design for those similar to what is available when you're in PvP - you see health bars with names under the thing on the UI for PvP, they are kind of tiny. I like those, and I want to use those for health and resources etc if you could make it so. Thanks for your time, and I hope you are still around. |

Error since patch
This is the current error I am getting in game with the use of the orb skin for my player frame.

The latest version of Gadgets still won't work for me.
The icon doesn't show up on the UI. I did not overwrite the old version in the addons folder, instead I actually removed the old version entirely and then put the new one in. I don't know what to do to make it work. Is there addon location information saved on where the icon or button was last left on the UI? Maybe if that exists, it thinks the icon is off the UI, dragged off maybe. If so, then how would I reset it to default? I don't know what to do... |

There seems to be a problem with the buffs...It is only showing 4 max for me...when I turn on the default buff bar I see all my buffs..
