Are you supporting the rendering of debuffs and DoTS on raid members? If no then I suspect this will not be suitable to raiding healers.

Update
I have found some minor changes already that will make some pieces easier to view. Those changes should be up this weekend. As I mentioned this is my first project and will be working through anything that comes up as best as possible.

I don't mess with creating add-ons, but would be interested to know if it would be possible to have this add-on be automatically set to not visible/disabled when not in a healing role.

First off all, thanks for this.
I like testing these things out, even though there is currently 3 of these available. I would like to make a suggestion: Could you possibly make skins for them that look more like the default raid frames? I like how those look, but I don't like the fact that they don't have much options on what to track and what not... ya know what I mean? I'm looking for something that does more than what the default ones do, but look just like them, if possible - or as close as possible, so things don't seem aesthetically out of place in the UI because some things may be designed different; it's an OCD issue. |

Good start on this one
I noticed that some debuffs like reduced armor and other, that are not poison, disease or curse, show up as a curse on the raidframes. And would it be possible to "highlight" the unitframe that is my actual target? That would help me a lot. Thanks for picking this up! |

The addon is easy enough to hide when not being used. /cbh toggle or /cbh hide. So I'm not sure I would put in an auto-hide feature. Again I will keep an eye out and see what other input I get on this. Perhaps maybe and option to turn on auto-hide? We'll see. Thanks for the feedback. |

No, I'm referring to the entire look and design, as well as the colors of the default ones.
We all know they look totally different than any of the group/raid/healer unit frame addons available on here. I'm talking about making it look like I'm still using the default ones, but actually I'm not because there are more features on one that is an addon, than there is in the default. Does that make sense to ya? Quote:

It makes sense. I don't think I will be going in that direction though. My ideal addon was Grid for WoW. That is kind of my vision. I don't like having debuff icons and buff icons and stuff like that in my raid frames. I like to know they are there. So in this addon I use a color box behind the health percentage to show that there is something that needs cleansed. The skins and color designs will be put in on future updates. I also don't like the clear bulky borders around the default frames. When I took over this addon I actually removed all of it's borders for example. I'm trying to picture in my mind what you are after but I may be getting it wrong.
As for features. The downside for addons right now is the restricted API. The addon support is still in beta and very limited. My goal for this addon is a minimalist point of view but still gets all the work done quickly and efficiently. Quote:

I had another issue last night, healing. I use a lot of mouseover macros, and somehow they didn't work like they should (-> on mouseover). Instead of casting a heal on the unit I was over with my mouse, it casted the heal on the target that I had selected (which wasn't the one my mouse was hovering over).
Thanks for looking into this too. I shall note the name of spells that are shown as a debuff but are not curable (given I have the time to note then whilst healing) |

The idea behind this addon is to remove the need for mouseover macros. Not to say you can't still have them/make them for healing non-partied/raid units such as a wardstone for example. I still mouseover macro some of my main heals for use when doing things such as protecting a wardstone. I'll /focus target the wardstone and use mouseovers to heal it when/if needed. But for anything in your party or raid, the idea is to eliminate the extra step of casting a spell from your action bar.
With that said. The issue you are experiencing is specifically caused by the fact the hovering over the addon's unit frame does not create a target mouseover. By that I mean, you'll notice when mousing over a unit frame from the addon that it does not create a tooltip or highlight that person. This is a restriction of the API currently. I am still exploring functions of the API and other libraries and addons out there to see if this can be fixed. I am anxious for the ability to right click on the frame and get a context menu. For me, this would fully eliminate the need for Rift's default unit frames completely. Sorry for the novel but I wanted to fully clarify myself. Thanks again for using the addon and for the feedback. Hopefully this won't deter you from using it. Happy Rifting! Quote:

I get that. But I'm just talking about skin. Same shape and all, just design. You know how the default frames have a transparent like bordering around it? I was thinking we could put that around each one... and then make the color and texture of the health show up just like it does on the default ones. I'm not talking about the grouped layout of the default frames, just the design. I think you thought I was talking about the grouped layout. A layout is the direction they grow in, and the shape they are in. I just basically want the addon to match the UI, that's all I'm talking about. I don't want it to look out of place... because you can't change some things in the UI yet to reflect the new design, ya know what I'm saying?
