Just tried running around with the cleansable debuff counter running and it seems to work perfectly. Really helpful in dungeons .

Good to hear, I expect it'll work for most people, and it's handy for deciding if debuffs are hurting the player
I think there's one bug with the cleansables, that I'm trying to work out how to handle. If you zone, and a debuff drops off another player, it doesn't always trigger an event, I need to raise it as a bug and think about a workaround. I saw this when joining an instant adventure, and hitting teleport, after zoning a few ppl had debuffs that didn't disappear. (a /reloadui fixes it) I've a few ideas on how to repro it, and test it out in more depth (mainly duel someone debuff them, and run into a porticum) I suspect I can fix it at the same time I add a timer to the debuff you're most likely to cleanse. From what I can tell the cleanse seems to take off the first debuff added to the player, much as the spell text suggests it's random, I think it removes the debuffs in the order they were cast on you...

Hi! I really would love to use this UI but no matter what I do, I can't get it to show my HoT's. I have it set to show soothing, healing current and healing spray. I get 3 icons on the raid frame person, but they are all the same HOT instead of all 3.
Maybe I'm just doingsomething wrong...but I would sure love to see all 3 hots on mutliple tanks in the raid frame.

I need to better document how buff trackers, slots and icons interact. The idea is that buff trackers will track and monitor buffs, currently there are two kinds, the cleansable tracker, and the priority list tracker. The trackers are assigned a buff slot, those slots will then be updated with changes. Icons are then assigned to hook onto the buff slots. This allows for a couple of things. A spec change can have a new set of buff trackers, but keep the same icon config. Until 0.4.1 the icons were hard coded to use slots 1-5 (top row, right to left) In 0.4.1 you can now adjust the icons, how many to a row, and which slots they match to. So back to the original question, with 0.4.1 you can create a tracker for each HoT, and assign the trackers to slots not already used, eg 18, 19 and 20. If you then go to the layout config for your tank panel, you can then have icons track those buff slots. I really need to write some documentation, as I know this will confuse people, but it's pretty flexible. Note that these changes also allow people to put the icons where they like in the player panel. Right now the config dialog takes a few seconds to appear, I need to optimize this, as it's not nice. It's a side effect of loading all the controls when you first open the dialog, I need to make it load the tabs on demand.

Thanks for very detailed (I think) response... but to be honest, I have no idea if you just said yes, this is possible or no, it is not.
I know that in the Life Binder addon it shows my hots o nthe raid window, so I know its possible... I just like the looks of this one more than that one....but if I can't see my hots, its really isn't all that useful yet for me yet. |

doh, problem with spending so much time looking at the code, get a bit too buried in the depth I really need to work on doing some decent documentation.
Yes, you can configure it so that you can see your hots seperately on the tank. If you go into the config for buffs, and add new trackers, one for each hot, and put the name of the hot in as a buff, then pick a slot to use, eg 18, 19 and 20, that sets up the trackers, it should end up looking like: http://s.riftui.com/preview/pvw599.jpg if you then go into the layouts, and pick your tank layout, with version 0.4.1 there's a new tab called Icon Settings. In Icon Settings you can set how many icon spots to allow, at the bottom there's a mapping of the icon spots to the buff slots. if you adjust an icon slider so that it has the same number as the buff slots you used for the trackers the hots should appear. It should end up like: http://s.riftui.com/preview/pvw600.jpg The reason for this complexity, it means that buff sets can be changed per spec, but the icons displayed don't have to be reconfigured. It also allows for a change in soul spec using a different buff set, so that role suitable buffs can be tracked for those icons spots. I know this is quite complex to configure right now, and could do with some streamlining, and better documentation. |

Hi Mere!
I tested this out in ID last night so I thought I would just mention a few things I noticed. 1. If someone goes D/C it doesn't show in the frame until the person is completely offline (minor problem unless its your MT! ) 2. When I move people around in the raid for various reasons, the frames dont update until you do /reloadui -- but when you do reload it resets the slider bars for your buffs. For example, I moved my hots to position 18/19/10 and my orbs on 17 --- but when I reloadui, it resets my buffs to position 1/2/3/4 and nothing appears. (hope I explained that well enough) Here are my minor suggestions: 1. Add this ui to Curse so it shows updates automatically using the downloader 2. Make option to change text color on frames -- instead of white text w/wo border, maybe black text would be easier to see. Thanks again for your hard work on this addon! |

I guess depending on the tank you might be able to guess, eg, we're in combat and this player's mana/power/energy hasn't moved down for a 3s, and they're also not moving around, are they slacking? IE players in general should be moving or doing something. I guess I could add a slacking icon, so you can tell that someone appears to be doing nothing and for how long. You can then make the decision for they're doing nothing because the fight needs you to do nothing at some point, eg stand still and don't attack. Quote:

2: that should be doable, (it might secretly be doable already, as some you can use the command line to play with the colours) The question is how fine grained you'd want the control, eg would an option to change all text foreground/background be enough (although it's probably a good starting point)? Thanks, Mere |

Is it possible to include the '/suppressmacrofailures' line in the macros, so I don't get those annoying macro error messages?
