Something a guildmate noticed earlier today was that if a player has the same name as the mob RareDar is looking for, it will supply a false positive result on screen. In this case, the player's name was Blister.
I don't know if the API will support it, but perhaps a check for is.NPC pr isnot.PC could be added in to prevent this. |

Not sure if this would be within the scope of this addon but it would be useful to have an ingame map with the locations of rare mobs on it.
Other than that, awesome addon, thanks for taking the time to make this. |

Just curious on the detection method/range for this?
I stood about 20 meters in front a of a mob, but it wasn't until i moused over it that i got the popup that it had been found. |

You could edit the data.lua file found in the RareDar folder and remove the mobs you've found.
Until/If there is a GUI where we can check or uncheck what to look for. |

Very handy, it would be even better if there would be an option to opt-out rares you already have (and if you could do that per zone it would be even more better!)
And while you are at it, on a successful kill auto-opt-out the rare and have a counter (50/105 rares found) But nevertheless my keyboard thanks you for removing the rare macro. |
